Who is Kian Shakouri ?

Video footage shows the moment a kickboxer chased a thief down the street after stealing items from his car.

Kian Shakouri, 29, can be seen running out of his home in Bedworth, Warwickshire, wearing only boxer shorts after being alerted by his security cameras detected by motion outside his home.

He managed to catch up with the thief who “cringed, groaned and cried” when he dropped the stolen items, which included tools Shakouri uses for his work as a carpenter and keys from his neighbor.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning and was captured by CCTV at the kickboxing coach’s home.

Footage shows

The footage shows a man dressed in a hooded sweater, mask, black pants and sneakers rummaging through the trunk of a car parked in a driveway.

The thief seems unconcerned that a light went on at the front of the property and continues to look through the tool boxes.

After a few seconds, the thief picks up a couple of toolboxes when the light in front of the house goes out.

The thief puts a box back in the trunk and closes it, activating the light in the process, before leaving armed with two tool boxes.

He then tests the door handle of a car parked next door, but gets annoyed when he hears a noise coming from the house.

Moments later, Mr. Shakouri, dressed only in boxer shorts, is seen running off the property and yelling at the thief who drops both boxes and runs away.

Mr. Shakouri continues to chase him, yelling “come here” as he disappears from the camera.

The recording picks up the audio that appears to be the moment when Mr. Shakouri catches up with the thief.

Incident

Shakouri said the incident occurred around 6 a.m. Sunday and woke him up when a motion detector alerted him to a movement outside his home.

Thinking he was a cat or a postman, he ignored him until he alerted him again.

After the second alert, he checked the live video on his app, which showed a man in the back of his car.

He said that he initially thought he was his father before realizing that he was a thief.

With no time to put on his clothes, he bolted out the front door and chased after them, eventually catching up with him about 20 meters down the street.

He told Metro: ‘He probably thought he had hit the jackpot, that he had been stealing everything and anything.

“ There was a small pile of things outside the front of the house that he had obviously stolen from other people.

“They looked like Christmas presents with perfumes and boxes from Ferrero Rocher, they looked like little gifts for people.

But she didn’t get away with it. As she chased after him, she just dropped everything and ran. ”

After the incident, the kickboxer told The Sun: ‘As soon as I caught up with him, he crouched in fear, groaned and cried.

The police told me that the keys they had taken from him were one of my neighbor’s house keys.

“It was nice to be able to return them.”

Information

Shakouri, who runs Total Kickboxing Academy, posted the video on his Facebook page, warning others to “stay tuned” and calling himself “captain’s briefs.”

He captioned it: ‘This morning this garbage bag was caught stealing cars in Bedworth.

Be vigilant, keep your cars locked and desirable out of sight.

“The ring cameras saved the day this time, along with the captain’s briefs.”

Warwickshire Police confirmed that the attempted robbery was reported to them at 6.43am on Sunday.
