Who is Kelly Wilkinson?
Kelly Wilkinson, 27, was found dead in the backyard of her home in Arundel, on the Gold Coast, around 6.40am on April 20, after being severely burned.
Her ex-husband Brian Earl Johnston, a former corporal in the United States Army, has been charged with her murder, charged with setting Ms. Wilkinson on fire, and violating a domestic violence order.

The huge amount of support began when entrepreneur Tamika Smith, Rhy’s stepsister, created an online campaign to raise funds to help build the house.
The fundraiser quickly went viral, leading to an anonymous donor offering a plot of land and Metricon raised his hand to do construction work, and his suppliers also donated materials.

“Looking at those kids, realizing that I couldn’t bring their mother back, broke my heart,” Smith said during the Monday night show.
“But what he could do is try to improve his future and what he could do is something I do every day: build houses for people.”
After being contacted by A Current Affair, several high-profile businesses have come forward to present goods and services to the family.
Harvey Norman CEO Gerry Norman donated a $ 15,000 voucher to use in their stores, while Officeworks will provide the family with eight school kits for each child and a store gift voucher.
Homeware and furniture retailer Temple and Webster has given away a $ 10,000 voucher, and YouFoods home delivery service is giving the family an annual supply of food.
Village Roadshows has contributed a five-night family vacation to Seaworld resorts and unlimited entry to their parks for 12 months.
