Angry Chicago native Kayla Eubanks took to Twitter
An angry Chicago native Kayla Eubanks took to Twitter Tuesday to document her discussion with ground crews who said her black halterneck top was too revealing.
“All of you, I was kicked off my @SouthwestAir flight because my breasts are ‘indecent, obscene and offensive. “I have been told that passengers might look at me in my clothes and be offended,” Eubanks tweeted from a bathroom. Selfie, she showed an outfit that included a long red skirt.
“I really want to know why @SouthwestAir is looking at my clothes like this,” he said in another tweet. “How does my shirt affect my flight, me, other passengers or even the pilot?
“Do you have a dress code for CUSTOMERS who pay to fly? For me, it’s a constant monitoring of women’s bodies, “she added.
In another post, Eubanks shared a video he recorded of an employee searching the Southwest dress code minutes before departure. They stopped me at the door for 30 minutes because of my shirt. ”
“If it’s there, why can’t you find it?” Eubanks asks the clerk about politics. “If it’s there, why don’t you know?”
She then recorded the captain, who had just come out of the bathroom at the door, walking towards her after being called by the receptionist.
“They hate you for looking good, right?” Said the captain to Eubanks.
“If they say, ‘Hey, the rule is you have to cover yourself, do you have anything? He asks, obviously preoccupied with the conversation. “Do you have a shirt or do you want me to give you one of mine?”
Eubanks replied that she would like to see the guidelines first, and when the captain leaves to try to solve the problem, she says, “Do I have to leave my shirts at home?” Obviously not, ”she laughs.
“The captain lent me his shirt so I could get on board (after he was taken off the flight and the flight was delayed). I finally took it off. Just to know that I should speak to a supervisor when I land, ”she wrote in a tweet in which she was sitting in a“ Boys of Summer ”baseball jersey.
