Prince Charles had been “nice” to the choir, the founder told TMZ.
The royal family has been battling claims that they are racist, after Markle told Oprah Winfrey on Sunday night that someone within the family asked how ‘dark’ her son Archie’s skin would be.
After the interview, Prince Harry told Winfrey that neither the Queen nor the Duke of Edinburgh had made the comment.
There has been frenzied speculation as to who the “real racist” was.
But Gibson said she had a hard time believing that Harry’s father was the culprit.
Buckingham Palace issued a statement Tuesday on behalf of the Queen expressing the family’s sadness at the ‘full extent of how challenging the past few years have been for Harry and Meghan’.
The statement said that the issues they raised, particularly race, were very “troubling.”
