Josiah Harwell Biography
A 19-year-old man accused of shooting and robbing a car in north St. Louis County was arrested in Atlanta this week.
The St. Louis County District Attorney’s Office has issued an arrest warrant for Josiah Harwell for robbery and assault in the first degree. Harwell was arrested by Atlanta police on Tuesday and is currently in custody.
As soon as he is extradited to Missouri, he will be held on bail in the amount of $ 200.00, police said in a press release.
On April 17, Harwell shot and killed a man in the 2700 block of Dunn Road, took his keychain, and stole his 2019 Dodge Charger. Video also shows Harwell shooting the victim.
The victim was seriously injured and was hospitalized.
When Harwell was arrested in Atlanta, he was in the Dodge Charger itself and police said he was chasing him.
