Johnny Hecker Wiki
Johnny Hecker Biography
Who is Johnny Hecker ?
Police are looking for a man who posed as a custodian to sneak past Los Angeles International Airport security and walk to the airfield before he was spotted and fled the scene.
Police officers shared images of the man on Monday in hopes of tracking down the insider who slipped through security in May.
News of the security breach came just days after a homeless man sneaked onto an empty American Airlines plane on Sunday.
While in June, an unidentified driver crashed his car at high speed through a gate and onto the track.
In May’s rape, the suspect had donned a custodian’s high-visibility jacket to pass through security.
How old is Johnny Hecker ?
He is 51 year old.
“The suspect posed as a custodial worker to go through security, then changed clothes before entering the airfield,” according to a statement from LAPD.
“When he confronted him, the suspect fled on foot climbing a fence at the airfield to escape.”
The researchers described the man as being around 25 years old, light-skinned and 1.8 m. tall, 165 pounds, with brown hair and eyes, CBS reported.
He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket with gray stripes on his arms and the number 84 on the left front of his chest.
He also wore a yellow work vest, blue jeans, and black shoes with a white stripe.
Police did not say what the suspect did while he was in the restricted area of the airport, and they have not yet publicly identified a suspicious motive.
An American Airlines cleaning crew apprehended the Michael Maine inside the plane
On Sunday, Matthew Maine, 31, was arrested and charged with burglary after he crawled under an airport security fence and boarded an empty American Airlines plane before being detained by a team of cleaning.
Police claim that around 4:45 a.m., the homeless man used a pipe to erect a portion of the fence surrounding the airfield and gained access to the runway.
And in June, a driver crashed his car at high speed through a door and led police on a two-runway chase as planes landed and took off at LAX.
The driver had the words SOS, written on the hood of the car.
said Bryan Del Monte, president of The Aviation Agency told CBS
“A determined person will not be dissuaded and will try those measures,
Del Monte said he believed the different layers of security at the airport worked as expected.
“The fact that these guys were caught and the only man was hunted down, and now he’s on the run while the police are looking for him, that proves the system is working,” he added.
LAX isn’t the only California airport that has experienced recent breaches.
Last Friday, Johnny Hecker, 51, of San Diego allegedly breached terminal security at John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana and stole a vehicle on the tarmac before abandoning it and fleeing on foot, CBSLA reported.
The incident had jammed aircraft traffic at the airport, and police were initially unable to find Hecker before discovering that he had climbed in and was hiding on the roof of the terminal above the ticketing area.
Jeff Price, a former assistant director of security at Denver International Airport, told CBSLA that despite the violations, airport security remained effective.
“ The system as it is now, people will be able to access the airfield illegally, but as long as we can catch them, as long as they don’t get to a plane, then the system has functionally worked, a layer could have failed. ” but other layers succeeded, ‘he said.
