All entrances to the Pentagon were secured after the attack, except the one that runs from the Metro. All were reopened according to Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman. The subway station had also been reopened at 8:00 p.m. except the entrance closest to the shooting area. Whitman said the subway entrance is likely to remain closed overnight.
