Who was John Hilgert ?

John Hilgert is the youngest victim of the horrible crush, which killed eight people at the Astroworld Festival on Friday night in Houston.

Hilgert was photographed when the Houston coroner posted a photograph of another victim they are trying to identify, KTRK reported.

The man is believed to be in his early 20s, has short dark hair, a goatee and wore a size 11 white Nike. He was six feet two inches tall and weighed 498 pounds.

Information

That victim was taken to Memorial Herman Hospital in the wake of Friday’s fatal crush. Investigators have yet to say how he died and have asked anyone with information on his identity to contact the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences at 832-927-5000 or 832-927-5001.

Victims

The victims, who are between 14 and 27 years old, have been identified as the brother of one of those killed in the act ‘poorly’ managed by ‘horrible’ people.

Danish Baig, 27, was one of the people who died after a flurry of concerts. University of Dayton student Franco Patino, 21, also died on the first day of the Astroworld festival at NRG Park in Houston, Texas, the school said.

Baig was killed after trying to save a relative during the stampede at the concert, his brother Basil Baig confirmed on Facebook.

“My brother died in this horrendous Astroworld event that was mishandled and supervised by such horrible people,” Basil wrote on Facebook.

He praised his late brother for his ‘brave act’ and called him a ‘beautiful soul’.

Others whose deaths have been confirmed to various media are Brianna Rodríguez, 16, and Rodolfo ‘Rudy’ Peña, 23.

“My brother tried to save my sister-in-law from these horrendous acts that were being done to her in the process in which she lost her life,” wrote Basil.

“My brother Danish Baig [is] a beautiful soul whose [e] smile would light up the room and put everyone before himself. Last night he showed his brave act to save my sister-in-law from those horrendous things that were being done.

“ I was there and I couldn’t save my brother. ”

Basil reported that people were ‘hitting’, ‘pushing’ and ‘shoving’ and ‘not caring about anyone’s life’.

He also alleged that superstar rapper and Kylie Jenner’s daughter’s baby daddy Stormi “provoked these people and forced them to do just that [stampede] and more, called people on stage to jump into the crowd and didn’t stop the show. ”

Death

University of Dayton student Franco Patiño, 21, also died at the event.

Patiño was a huge fan of the rapper and traveled from southern Ohio to Houston for the event with his best friend to celebrate his friend’s birthday, according to WGN9.

The college senior was studying engineering and was a member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and Alpha Psi Lambda.

Patiño was part of the society’s special interests house, which he worked with his fellow student Andy Prieto to create.
