Jessica Leanne Norris Biography
Jessica Leanne Norris was one of Britain’s best pole dancers who committed suicide after being prevented from competing during the coronavirus lockdown, according to an investigation. Norris, a two-time Miss Pole Dance UK winner, had struggled with depression since she was a teenager, but her mental state deteriorated when the lockdown meant she could no longer go to the gym.

In recording a suicide conclusion, Coroner Alan Walsh said: “Jessica was obviously very good in the profession she chose because she had been a teacher.

She “She was successful in teaching her. She was successful in competitions. But as her mother said, she was very successful and professional. ”
