Jessica Barth (born July 12, 1980) is an American film and stage actress, best known for playing Tami-Lynn McCaferty in the film Ted and its sequel .
Early life and education
Barth was born in Philadelphia to an Indian father and an Irish mother. After high school, he took classes at the Wilma Theater and then attended La Salle University, where he studied communications for two years; She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from West Chester University, where she studied acting, theater, and creative writing.
Barth built his resume while also working at three different restaurants in Los Angeles.  She began her acting career with plays, with her first television role in The District in 2004 and her first film role in Neo Ned in 2005. Barth gained worldwide recognition with her appearance in the 2012 Seth MacFarlane Ted film. as Tami-Lynn, the character’s love interest title.  He reprized the role in Ted 2 (2015).
In 2012, Barth accused her manager David Guillod of drugging her and sexually assaulting her. She reiterated the accusation in 2017.  In June 2020, Guillod was charged with 11 felony sexual crimes, including kidnapping and rape, stemming from accusations made by other women. [Four. Five]
In 2017, Barth revealed that she was the victim of sexual harassment by Harvey Weinstein. She met Weinstein in his hotel suite for an alleged business meeting in which he “alternated between offering her a role in a movie and demanding a nude massage in bed.” MacFarlane, who directed Barth in both Ted films, expressed support for her allegations in a statement on Twitter.
