Who was Jayleigh Murray?
Eleven-month-old Jayleigh Murray was found unconscious at her home on Aldrin Avenue, Dubbo, at around 6:20 p.m. subway. of June 6, 2019.
She was taken to Dubbo Base Hospital, before being airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Westmead, where she died on June 12.
Crime

A post-mortem examination revealed that Jayleigh suffered non-accidental head trauma and other suspicious injuries prior to her death.
Detectives from the State Crime Command’s Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad established Strike Force Binara to investigate her death.
The Commander of the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad, Detective Superintendent Jayne Doherty, hopes the reward will encourage people to talk to investigators.
“We cannot imagine what would lead someone to hurt such a beautiful and defenseless girl,” she said Monday.
Investigators believe there are people living in the community who hold the key to Jayleigh’s story.
“We need those people to be brave and come forward with that information in tribute to a life that ended so tragically early.”
