Jackie Aliss Biography
Jackie Aliss was the second wife of British professional golfer, television presenter, commentator, writer and golf course designer Peter Alliss. Her husband Alliss died on December 6, 2020, at the age of 89, according to a statement from her family. The couple were together from 1969 until her death.

Alliss married his second wife, Jackie. Along with Jackie, Alliss had two daughters named Sara and Victoria and two sons named Simon and Henry. Life has not always been kind to Alliss and his wife Jackie. Victoria died at the age of 10 after being born with irreparable brain damage.
“Our daughter Victoria died when she was 10 years old,” he said. She was severely disabled, as she did not have a central nervous system. It looked like a baby and made almost no sound. This changed me. I used to get angry over little things and wonder why someone wouldn’t say hi to me, for example. But since I have Victoria, I realized that the person who passed without speaking could have problems that he did not know. So all the things that worried me were eliminated from my life. ”
Peter Alliss Death and Cause
Peter Alliss died at the age of 89 on Sunday, December 6, 2020. The death rate in September 2020 was still shocking. 2021 would be its 60th anniversary in publication and it was expected to be retired after the Ryder Cup.
In a statement on behalf of the Alliss family, “We are very sorry to announce that golf and streaming legend Peter Alliss has passed. Peter’s death was unexpected but peaceful. Peter was a loyal husband, father and grandfather and his family wanted privacy at this difficult time.
Keith Pelley, European Tour CEO, said: “We are very sorry for the passing of Peter Alliss, one of the wonders of golf. Peter has left an indelible mark and a remarkable legacy on our game, especially in everything he does as a player and broadcaster. Our thoughts are with his wife Jackie and the Alliss family. ”
Alliss won more than 20 tournaments and played in eight Ryder Cups; no doubt after closing its peaks in the 70s, it found its natural home on the booth and established itself with other legends like Bill McLaren, Murray Walker and others. Richie Benaud and Dan Maskell.
Her son Gary is a professional golfer and teacher, and captain of the England and Ireland PGA Cup team in 2007 and 2009.
For more than 30 years, Alliss lived in the Surrey village of Hindhead, in a large five-acre house.  In 2010, at the age of 79, Alliss said that she could still score a golf score below her age (less than 79 shots).
Alliss first married Joan McGuinness in 1953. They had two children, Gary (born 1954) and Carol (born 1960).
