Izzy Boyle Biography
Who is Izzy Boyle ?
A student who said she was ambushed while driving at night was horrified when internet trolls blamed her for the ordeal because they said it was ‘out too late’.
Izzy Boyle, from London, was driving through Peckham, south London, around 2 a.m. on his way back from her babysitting job when the street in front of her was blocked by a dumpster.
Thinking it was a joke, she got out of her car to get out the trash can, but then she heard a “whisper” before seeing people come out of a side alley.
After quickly returning to her car, she concluded that the container had been placed on the road to lure people out of her car.
In her viral TikTok video titled, ‘PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS NEW TACTIC’, Ms Boyle described her experience in hopes that she will protect other potential victims.
However, while most of the comments in the video were positive, others blamed her for ‘being out so late’, adding that she was ‘literally asking for it’.
Another person said: ‘The other thing you can do to protect yourself is not to drive alone late at night.’
Ms. Boyle’s video comes a week after Metropolitan Police officer Wayne Couzens, 48, was sentenced to life in prison for the kidnapping, rape and murder of Sarah Everard, 33.
The high-profile case has plunged the Met into a crisis as women across the country fear for their safety.
On Sunday, a second officer working in the Parliamentary Protection Unit, where Couzens worked as an armed officer, appeared in court on charges of rape.

Another critical comment on Ms Boyle’s video read: ‘The other thing you can do to protect yourself is not to drive alone late at night.’
A third posted: ‘Don’t blame the victim, but increase the chances of being robbed, raped or kidnapped when he enters a crime-ridden area at 2 a.m. Be careful.’
Ms. Boyle was also asked “why the hell did she get out of her car” in the middle of the street at 2am.
She told The Sun: ‘I was surprised by the fact that there were people who blamed me, and some even said that I would be safer if I did not drive through Peckham in the first few hours.
“I was surprised to see how many of the comments were the fault of the victims, especially considering everything that has happened recently.”
Her comments come after she criticized the Met for giving advice to women, including telling them to “sign on a bus” if they feared being abducted by the police.

Ms Boyle said in her video: ‘I found an island in the middle of the road and there was a container on both sides so that no cars could go through either lane.
The clip, which garnered more than 100,000 likes, shows the young woman recording her way home; the dash is visible and at the end of the video it is clear that a blue container obstructs the path.
Supporting commenters were in awe of the situation and shared their similar experiences.
