Itzell Sanchez Biography
Itzell Sánchez was found dead along with a 21-year-old man, identified online as her boyfriend Norge Dominguez, in a black Ford Mustang that was parked near an apartment complex in west Houston before dawn Wednesday.
A 24-year-old woman died in an apparent murder-suicide on Wednesday, allegedly at the hands of her boyfriend, just days before her brother was found dead by his family on Christmas Day.
His mother, Claudia Sánchez, told KTRK-TV that her daughter had recently returned to the 21-year-old and said he had abused her physically and emotionally.
She spoke of her regret at not having prevented the reunion, which happened just two days before Itzell’s murder on Wednesday.
Now, just two days later, the family has suffered a new heartache, with friends announcing online that Itzell’s brother, Gerardo ‘Jerry’ Figueroa has also died.
The details of her death have not been confirmed by authorities.

The message included a smiling emoji with three small hearts pasted on its face.
Houston police said it appeared the man fatally shot Itzell before pointing the gun. Both were declared dead at the scene.
The coroner has not yet officially identified the deceased man.
Witnesses said they heard screams as the couple argued moments before the shots rang out, according to investigators.
A woman was heard yelling “No” several times before the shot was heard, investigators said.
Claudia Sánchez said that she is full of regret for not intervening with more force to protect her daughter from a toxic relationship.
“I’m sorry,” Claudia told KTRK-TV.
Itzell had briefly broken up with her boyfriend, but recently informed her mother that she would be resuming the relationship despite her objections.
She told her mother that she was in love.
“He beat her and made her feel guilty for hitting her,” Claudia said.
“We kept telling my daughter to stay away from this guy, it’s not good.”
Claudia received a phone call early Wednesday morning asking her to appear at the crime scene in West Houston.
“I saw two people in those black bags and I said, ‘Is my daughter in those bags? “And they said yes,” said the grieving mother.
Claudia said Itzell and her boyfriend were at a party. Soon after, they went to an apartment complex where one of Itzell’s friends lived.
“[My daughter] had a beautiful smile and now I will never see that smile again,” Claudia said.
