Hayden Hunstable Biography
Hayden Hunstable was an American boy from Texas who hanged himself in his bedroom in April 2020 three days before his thirteenth birthday, as his father Brad Hunstable previously told KXAS-TV.
He took his own life because he did not know how to deal with isolation and depression when the emerging illness caused a national shutdown.
Hayden Hunstable Age
Hayden Hunstable was 12 years old.
His father recently told Metro UK that he believes his son took his own life because he felt “sad and lonely” amid the Covid blocking measures.
According to Metro UK, Hayden Hunstable’s younger sister Kinlee Hunstable discovered his body on April 17. The 9-year-old girl found her brother’s body hanging in her bedroom, The New York Post added.
Cause of death
He died by suicide after fighting isolation during the coronavirus pandemic, says his father.
“He loved soccer and he loved being around people, he was very sociable,” the father told Metro. â € œHe was a small man but he had the heart of a lion. He was loved by his friends and family. ”
He said Hayden received a curved monitor for Christmas in 2019, just before the crash, but accidentally broke it when he got frustrated and threw a game controller at the screen.
“She did some chores around the house and we bought her a cheaper one in April because it was her birthday on April 21 and she wanted to play with her friends,” she said.
When police investigated the boy’s death, they discovered that he, too, had broken his new monitor, Brad said.
“I don’t know if he was scared about getting into trouble or anxious that he couldn’t talk to his friends and ruin his birthday,” he said. â € œEither he did it with impulsive anger or he got into a situation he couldnâ € ™ t get out of.
Brad said that he believes that if his son had been taught about depression and how to overcome it, he could have been saved.
As a result of the tragedy, Brad is on a mission to tackle what he believes will be a “mental health tsunami” triggered by the pandemic, and he has also made a short film called “Almost 13.” who shares Hayden’s story.
