The EastEnders actress’s stepdaughter Anna Karen is delighted that her late stepmother has left her £427,000 fortune to her soap opera co-star.

On The Buses star Anna Karen died in February in a terrace fire at her home in Ilford, East London, which neighbors believe she started with a cigarette after she fell asleep while she used to smoke.

Miss Karen, who played downtrodden wife Olive Rudge on ITV’s raunchy sitcom between 1969 and 1973, left £427,197, her estate records reveal.
Her will left 65 per cent of her net worth to her close friend Miss Lawrence, 50, after payment of legal and funeral costs, inheritance tax and a bequest of £1,500 to another. dude.
