Who was Georgia Bendelow?
Georgia Bendelow, 18, suffered serious injuries following a collision between a white BMW M3 and a red Seat Mii on the A63 Selby Road at around 6:40 p.m. m. on Wednesday.
The teenager, who was a passenger in the Seat, was rushed to hospital by air ambulance, but died two days later.
The driver of the Seat, a 45-year-old woman, and another passenger, a 20-year-old man, were also hospitalized with serious injuries. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A 32-year-old man, the driver of the BMW, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Investigation

Tributes of her have trickled down to the teenager, with friends describing her as “the most beautiful soul.”
Georgia’s mother, Jo Murphy, wrote on her Facebook: “My beautiful girl, I love and miss you so much.”
Another friend added: ‘So heartbreaking, I can’t even imagine your pain. Rest in peace beautiful Georgia.
A third said: ‘Sorry to hear the news. I couldn’t believe it and I’m in shock. I’m really very sad for you. I send you my love and hugs.’
The driver of the BMW was traveling from Crossgates and heading in the direction of Garforth when the accident occurred.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Police have released the name of the woman who died following a road accident in Leeds.
Georgia, who was a passenger in the Mii, was seriously injured in the collision, which occurred on Swillington Common around 6:40 p.m. m. on Wednesday, August 31.
The driver of the BMW, a 32-year-old man from Leeds, who was arrested following the collision, has been released under investigation.

The A63 was closed for more than nine hours following last week’s fatal accident, with a large presence of emergency services present.
Police say the collision took place on the eastbound carriageway of the A63, Swillington Common, near the junction with Swillington Lane.
