Who is Gemma Barton?
His Mother Gemma Barton and her stepfather, Craig Crouch, were arrested on January 5, 2021 and released on bail, before being charged on Wednesday.
Mrs Barton, 32, of Heanor, and Mr Crouch, 38, of Linton, are in custody and are due to appear at South Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court later.
A mother and stepfather have been charged with the murder of a 10-month-old baby.
Derbyshire Police said emergency services were called to report that Jacob Crouch was “gravely ill” at a house in Linton, near Swadlincote, on the morning of December 30, 2020.

The pair were charged in the alleged murder of Jacob today (Wednesday, July 6).
