James Bond star Frank McRae has died at the age of 80.
Screen star Frank was best known for his role as the famous friend of spy Sharkey in 1989’s License to Kill and previously played defensive tackle for the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams in the 1960s.
The official James Bond Twitter account paid tribute on Thursday, writing: ‘We are sorry to hear that Frank McRae, who played Sharkey in License To Kill, has passed away. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. ‘
