Emre Cicek Biography                                                  Emre Cicek Wiki

Emre Cicek, 25, is also accused of throwing the bleeding half-naked woman in a bag and driving her in his car, leaving her dead in Turkey.

He then went to the police, believing he was dead, but they found him handcuffed in his pocket and still alive in critical condition.

The shocking details of the assassination attempt, which the young woman incredibly survived, were presented by prosecutors during a trial before the Eighth Supreme Court in Bakirkoy.

Cicek had taken her friend Rabia Kacmaz, 25, to a seafood restaurant in Istanbul’s Florya district in a rental car in February 2019.

Over lunch, she told him that she was not happy and that she wanted to end their relationship.

Cicek then took her to the textile workshop where she worked after telling her that he had a surprise for her.

The court heard that Kacmaz had been ordered to close his eyes. It is believed that he later handcuffed her wrists, knees and feet to prevent her from escaping.

She said he told her, “I brought you here to punish you. You can’t get out of here. I’ll tear you apart here. ”

The accused then gave him the opportunity to greet his mother by telephone before beginning to torture her.

Kacmaz was stabbed in the kidney before attempting to suffocate her with a pillow, the court was told.

Cicek then covered the injured woman with a blanket and left the lab.

She came back a few minutes later and put it in a bag before putting it in the trunk.

Cicek then went to a nearby lake, where he placed the bag with the woman on the ground, Hurriyet reports.

After Cicek kicked her to see if she was still alive, he pushed her into his car.

Kacmaz fought for her life in the intensive care unit, where it was a long time before she could be discharged from the hospital.

Cicek faces up to 53 years in prison for attempted murder, injury and kidnapping.

He was jailed while prosecutors and defense officials prepared their statements on the proposed sentence.
