Who is Duane Brown?
NFL free agent Duane Brown was arrested Saturday after trying to board a plane with a gun in his luggage at LAX.
The 36-year-old defensive tackle was arrested after a TSA agent conducted a routine search of his bag and found a firearm around 2 p.m. m. at Terminal 6, where he was supposed to fly from Los Angeles.
LAX airport police officer Lt. Karla Rodriguez said it was unclear if the gun was loaded.Video of the incident shows the 6-foot-4, 315-pound professional athlete, dressed in a black T-shirt and shorts, being escorted through the airport by police in handcuffs and then loaded into the back of a police cruiser.

Brown was taken into custody and booked into the LAPD’s Pacific Jail, according to Rodriguez.

He faced a 10-game suspension for using the banned substance, but was able to escape the penalty by blaming it on contaminated meat he had eaten on a trip to Mexico.
The NFL Players Association, which represented Brown, said all 10 hamburgers and two steaks he ate on a weeklong vacation south of the border contained the substance.
His case prompted the league to issue a warning to all players that meat from China or Mexico could give a false positive on a drug test.
“Consuming large amounts of meat while visiting those particular countries may result in a positive test for clenbuterol in violation of policy,” according to the NFL.
