â € ˜He is a doctor, I called him when I had COVID. He was instructing me on what to do.
Simoni’s longtime friend tells us that the doctor had a test on December 6 after a patient he had seen called to say he was positive. The father of two children tested positive. His friends tell us that for a week he was perfectly fine, but then he started having trouble breathing. They eventually put him on a ventilator at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he rapidly deteriorated.
“Yes, he was wearing a mask at all times,” Amiri-Younesi said. â € œHe was a doctor. And he took all the protocols. ”

While filming “Gown and Out” with Dr. Simoni, the show crew also had to test negative to continue working and there were a small number of people involved in the production, with no other patients … Patrik tells us.
It’s very sad … Patrik says that he texted Dr. Simoni on Christmas and New Years, but was alarmed when there was no response. The doctor died on January 8 of a brain hemorrhage after being placed in a medically induced coma.
