                        Dianne Miller Biography

Dianne Miller’s brother confirmed the tragic news Thursday night, saying their family had been “destroyed.”

“We lost our world… the baby passed away too,” Malcolm Clifton told NITV.

Miller, 30, also had an eight-month-old son.

WA Police have opened a homicide investigation.

A 17-year-old had previously been charged with causing grievous bodily injury and violating bail.

Ms Miller went into cardiac arrest after she allegedly threw a piece of concrete through her car window and hit her on the head while she was with her young family while she was grocery shopping in Perth on Tuesday.

Family

Ms Miller, who was five months pregnant, had been fighting for her life at the Royal Perth Hospital.

Clifton said her younger sister had always acted like she was the older one and supported everyone in the family.

“She’s our rock, but now I have to be everyone else’s rock,” she said.

She is the most beautiful person you will ever meet.

Prime Minister Mark McGowan said on Thursday, before Miller’s death was announced, that the situation was “very, very tragic.”

“I think her family is obviously going through a very difficult period. It is very, very sad for her and her unborn child,” he told reporters.

Investigation

‘It’s one of those things that is beyond description that this could happen to someone.

‘It is a very sad event that you would not wish on anyone.’

Police officers and members of the public performed CPR on Ms. Miller until paramedics arrived.

The boy, from Kensington, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm and breaching bail.

He faced Perth Children’s Court on Wednesday and will face a bail hearing next week.

Inspector Brett Baddock said the parties did not know each other.

“I just chalk it up to  senseless, unprovoked violence, which is unacceptable and we will not tolerate it,” he told reporters.

Police said their investigation was ongoing and detectives urged anyone who saw the incident, or has footage of it, to contact Crime Stoppers.
