A mother was fined three times in a single day for turning her car into a parking lot at the end of her own street.
Dianne Bakolis, 59, was fined £ 120 after maneuvering out of the Station Road car park, which serves Brough railway station in East Yorkshire.
Ms. Bakolis said that she uses the entrance to the station parking lot to make a U-turn due to congestion on her narrow street.
But as she turns her vehicle, an APCOA-run parking control camera, which is angled toward Station Road, records her license plate and considers her a user of the station parking lot who has not paid for a ticket.wikipedia

Dianne Bakolis was fined
Dianne Bakolis, 59, was fined £ 120 while turning the dead end where she lives in Brough, west of Hull in East Yorkshire.
She often uses the station entrance to make a U-turn due to congestion on her narrow street.
But a parking control camera managed by Apcoa keeps marking her license plate as she does so, reports Hull Live.
Several other motorists, including people picking up takeout or dropping off at the station, have also been fined.

Several other motorists, including people picking up takeout from a nearby Chinese restaurant or dropping off at the station, also claimed to have been fined.
Ms Bakolis, who previously won appeals against APCOA, told the Hull Daily Mail: “ Sometimes it is very difficult to turn on Station Road which is a dead end so I go around the parking lot to turn.
“ The camera is oriented towards Station Road, but it is not necessary, as there are no places to park at the station there.
“ It seems like it’s just trying to catch people who aren’t even using the parking lot, or are leaving or buying a Chinese.
“I appealed the first one and I won, now I am appealing these three that I received in one day.”
APCOA Parking, who run the car park, said they are aware of a ‘current issue’
Another resident, Penny Coates, said she recently received two tickets in one day and another the next morning.
She said that she would turn her car into the parking lot and ‘once or twice’ parked in a parking space and waited a few seconds until she was able to back up.
She added: ‘I have been issued four tickets for this.
‘The last one I turned to Chinese takeout.
“Now I’m just waiting to hear the outcome of my appeal.”
A spokesperson for APCOA Parking said: ‘APCOA and our client are aware of a current issue on this site and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible.
“In the meantime, we encourage anyone who believes that a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) has been improperly served to follow the appeals process so that we can respond to her specific case.”
