A police-hating protester was charged with spitting in the face of a New York police sergeant during savage protests in Manhattan Wednesday night, police said.
Devina Singh, 24, was caught on video without a mask yelling at the sergeant: “Y-you, fascist!” before spitting on him.
Singh, who lives in tiny Schwenksville, Pennsylvania, was charged with obstruction of government administration, violation of local law and harassment.
Singh and his comrades were among the crowd of leftist anti-police protesters who clashed with police in the West Village, set fire to trash and yelled at diners outside, police said. Sixty people were arrested.
Before that, hundreds gathered for a mostly peaceful post-election rally in Washington Square Park, chanting, “Count the vote.”

Singh was also arrested for resisting arrest charges at a Big Apple protest in September and an illegal gathering during a Brooklyn protest in October, police said.
On her since deleted Instagram, she proudly posted a photo of her arrest in New York City on September 18, writing: “I’m so fucking crazy… probs because behind me (white shirt) is Deputy Inspector Elias J. Nikas AKA Little Dick Nik “.
