Dean Allsop Biography
A father of three was stabbed to death in front of his son after a fight between neighbors over loud motorcycles.
The man, locally named Dean Allsop, had been testing the vehicles when a neighbor in a bungalow objected to the noise and came out to complain.
A massive stabbing broke out, leaving Mr. Allsop dead and three other people taken to hospital with stab wounds.
Police confirmed that two men had been arrested at the scene next to a communal garage area on Primrose Crescent on Thorpe St Andrew near Norwich, Norfolk.
Norfolk police said emergency services were called to Primrose Crescent shortly after 7.35 pm Wednesday “following reports of a disturbance involving multiple people.”
Armed police officers were confirmed to be among the responding officers.
Paramedics fought to save Mr. Allsop, but he was pronounced dead near his townhouse where he lived with his partner and children.
His friend Aaron Barkshire, 29, who lives near him, said: ‘Dean and his son, who was 17 or 18, had legal motorcycles on the road and were out for a ride.
This neighbor went out because he did not like the noise of the bicycles. There was a little verbal discussion and it became unpleasant.

‘Dean and his son were riding the bike and he didn’t like the noise, so he came out giving it a lot. Dean called the police and got a little verbal between them.
‘It is terrible that something so trivial has caused this. It’s just phenomenal. ‘
Barkshire, who is a motorcycle mechanic, said he witnessed the start of the discussion and went to his garage.
He said: ‘I didn’t want to get involved being a neighbor of both parties. I went into the garage and that’s when I heard there was a knife involved, so I locked myself in my garage.

‘I was scared for my life because there was a guy with a knife and I thought he would be next, but I didn’t hear any commotion or anything.
‘My lady called me to ask if I was okay because she could hear what was going on.
‘I decided to go home and when I got out, Dean’s son yelled at me to call the police because his dad had been stabbed multiple times.
‘I saw this guy standing there with a knife. It was a big knife. I was scared for my life because this guy had seen me go into the garage and there was a huge knife. I thought ~ I was next in the line of fire.
Cause of Death
‘I saw Dean covered in blood, but he was alive right now. We heard a lot of commotion and I think he continued afterwards. Everything was in a blue like in slow motion. ‘
Mr. Barkshire described Mr. Allsop as “a heart of gold”. He added, “He treated my children like one of his own.”
He said: ‘His son had just rebuilt his bike and Dean contacted me to ask if he could listen to it because I’m a mechanic. This was around 10 in the morning and I said I would do it the next time I saw him. ”
At least eight police cars, ambulances and rapid response vehicles were seen in the area after the stabbing.
An East Anglian Air Ambulance helicopter was also called to the scene and landed on nearby playing fields.
Retired health care assistant Eve Cooper, 67, said: ‘I realized something had happened when I heard the ambulance and saw the police cars.
Then the helicopter descended so low that I could see the pilot. It was pretty scary.
I’m a Londoner and I felt safe here, and I want to feel safe again. ‘
A statement from Norfolk Police said: “Officers arrived at the scene and found four people injured. Despite treatment by paramedics, a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other people were taken to the hospital to receive treatment for alleged stab wounds.
Police arrested two men at the scene in connection with the incident, who will be questioned in due course.
“Police have cordoned off the scene in Primrose Crescent while investigations are being conducted.”
Norfolk Police Superintendent Tracey Little added: ‘Various police assets, including armed units, were deployed to the scene.
A murder investigation has been launched and we are in the early stages of our investigations to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
“We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information about it.”
Police forensic teams were still at the scene today and the area remained cordoned off by officers.
A tent believed to cover potential evidence was visible outside the communal garage area.
Thorpe St Andrew is a small town and suburb two miles east of Norwich city center and has a population of around 13,000 people.
The community sits alongside the River Yare on the edge of the Norfolk Broads.
Police are asking anyone with information to call 101.
