David Hornman Biography
A body was found in a car that was dumped into a rain-soaked stream in the Gold Coast hinterland.
The discovery comes during the search for Canungra’s missing husband, David Hornman.
On Wednesday afternoon, the Canungra Creek car was seen overturned and nearly submerged.
The body inside has not been identified.
Hornman, 38, was reported missing after leaving a home on Lamington National Park Road around 6 a.m.
It is not known if his disappearance was linked to the climatic conditions of the time.
The inland Gold Coast is one of the places in South East Queensland where it has rained heavily in recent days.
Hornman drove a white 2013 Isuzu D-Max, registered 510WUB in Queensland.
At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing work clothes that, according to his family, were out of place.
He is described as 190 cm tall, of medium height, with gray hair and blue eyes.
