Davey Everson Wiki
Davey Everson Biography
Davey Everson, 23, claimed that Millie-Rose Burdett had choked in Hertfordshire in December 2018, while his mother, Kirsty Burdett, 25, helped him cover his tracks.
But when the girl was rushed to the hospital, the doctors discovered that she had suffered a hemorrhage in her brain because she was violently shaken and thrown on her cot.
Burdett witnessed Everson thrust a bottle into Millie-Rose’s mouth so hard that she started bleeding, but she allowed him to continue feeding her daughter and continued her relationship with him.
Today at the Old Bailey, he was sentenced to life in prison with a minimum sentence of 18 years.
Davey Everson, 23, left, claimed Millie-Rose Burdett had choked in Hertfordshire in December 2018 while her mother, Kirsty Burdett, 25, right, helped him cover his tracks
Burdett was jailed for six years after the court heard her claim that the bruises on Millie-Rose’s face were from a fall when in fact her boyfriend was responsible.
Little Millie-Rose tragically died at just three months old after being taken to Watford General Hospital on January 11, 2019.
She has suffered horrific injuries including head trauma, 12 multiple rib fractures, broken legs, and compression fractures to the spine.
Her fatal injury was inflicted by Everson by throwing her onto a cot at her mother’s home in Hertfordshire.
He had become frustrated as he fed the girl, cursing when she struggled with a large bottle that couldn’t fit in her mouth.
And even though he initially volunteered to care for her, he lost interest in her when she began to look more like her biological father to hers.
In sentencing at the Old Bailey today, Judge Cheema-Grubb said the killer had been “irritated” by the appearance of Millie-Rose.
The judge said it was clear that Everson had “deliberately” killed the boy and not simply lost control in the heat of a moment of impatience.
