Cilem Kelleci Wiki
Cilem Kelleci Biography
Cilem Kelleci, 31, went to Gazi State Hospital in the Ilkadim district of the Turkish city of Samsun complaining of a urinary tract infection in February last year.
She made it clear to doctors that she was allergic to antibiotics, but claimed they gave her a course of antibiotics anyway.
A woman has gone blind in one eye and pieces of skin have peeled off after suffering a horrible reaction to antibiotics in Turkey.
A short time later, he was unable to see and felt huge lumps of skin peel off his body as a result of an allergic reaction that was nearly fatal.
She said, ‘At one point, they told me they were going to have to remove my right eye.’
She was then transferred to a private hospital where she was told they needed £ 9,100 to save her right eye and that if she left it too long it would be too late.
She currently has only 20% use of her left eye.
She added: ‘I am 31 years old and I am terrified of becoming a prisoner of the dark.’
The past 10 months have been a nightmare for her and she has been told that each day that goes by without treatment will make it more likely that she will never regain her sight.
She plans to sue the hospital, but says she can’t wait for the result because even if they get the money, it may be too late.
