Chrishell Stause Wiki Bio Age
Because he and Stause are both public figures and choose to live part of their lives in public view, Hartley said he understands that there will always be some gossip about their relationships and personal life.
“For people who just want to dive into gossip and believe everything they read, that’s fine too, if they entertain themselves with it,” Hartley said. “But I’ve also always had the opinion that I will live a public life, but I will be very private about my personal affairs.”
There have been many rumors and allegations about the couple’s very public divorce, which Hartley filed for in July 2019, according to Entertainment Tonight, including rumors about what happened to cause the divorce and how Stause found out that Hartley wanted a divorce. Hartley cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce.
Stause Says She Found Out About the Divorce Through a Text Message
On a recent episode of Selling Sunset, Stause said that she found out that her now ex-husband wanted a divorce via text message.
“We had a fight that day [he presented] on the phone and I haven’t seen him since. We didn’t talk things over and before we had a chance to figure things out, he filed [for divorce], “Stause said. “I found out because he texted me saying we were on file. Forty-five minutes later, the world knew. ”
He added that he felt like he was in shock trying to hold everything together.
“It’s a lot at once because everyone knows how I knew at the same time,” he said. “Have you ever been hit by a wave and you didn’t know which way to swim to get up?”
It has been a difficult few years for Stause. In addition to divorcing in 2019, he went through the death of his father and mother, both from cancer. He recently spoke about losing his parents on Dancing With the Stars, dedicating a dance to them.
Hartley’s ex-wife, actress Lindsay Korman-Hartley, defended Hartley on Instagram following the news of their divorce and speculation surrounding her.
“Today, I thank my ex-husband Justin not only for being (an) example of a solid man, but for being my dear friend and devoted father to our daughter,” she wrote in part. “Just put; for being family. We get our own opinion of people by experiencing life and time together, and we do our best to appreciate those who maintain constant kindness, love, and generosity.”
