Caroline Kayll Wiki
Caroline Kayll Biography
A cage fighter jailed for life today for killing his ex-girlfriend and trying to murder his underage lover was caught on film throwing a tantrum at officers when they finally caught him after days on the run.
Paul Robson, 50, was arrested six days after his ex-partner Caroline Kayll, 47, sustained 60 injuries during the attack on her home in Linton, Northumberland, last year.
He had fled, but the law caught up with him six days later.
Pictures of him in his cell showed him pathetically complaining “put your hands on me and I’ll put my hands on you.”
A week earlier, Robson knocked Miss Kayll to the ground and then repeatedly kicked her in the head while she was wearing heavy work boots.
Branded a “cruel and calculating coward” by the prosecution, Robson then took a pair of scissors to her lifeless body, cut off her hair and cut off her buttocks.
How old is Caroline Kayll?
He is 47 year old.
‘Haunt us forever’
In sentencing Robson to life in prison with a minimum term of 35 years, Judge Lavender said the crimes were compounded by the use of ammonia as a weapon, that the attacks occurred in the house where they had lived together and that he had used “gratuitous violence. “on Mrs. Kayll while she was dying.
“You ended your life and brought pain and misery into the lives of others,” the judge said.
“Her ex-husband, Ian Kayll, has said that there are absolutely no words to describe her family’s feelings about losing her.”
A victim statement from the boy’s mother, which was not read in court, was “very moving,” the judge said.
“She says, ‘The last few months have been a living nightmare for us and have left us all in total confusion.
“‘None of our lives will ever be the same, the events that took place [that night] will haunt us forever.’
During the trial, it emerged that, at the time of the murder, Robson was wanted in prison for failing to meet with his probation officer.
Northumbria police have now said they will conduct a review to establish whether “any opportunity to arrest Robson was missed.”
Attack
During the frenzied attack, Robson stabbed and bit Ms. Kayll’s 15-year-old lover, who cannot be named, 45 times, but the teenager miraculously survived.
Judge Lavender said “this is almost a double murder” and imprisoned Robson for life.
The judge told him: ‘When he discovered that Ms Kayll had started an inappropriate and illegal relationship with a child, he used the threat of exposing their relationship to get her to pay him £ 29,000 in eight installments between November 1 and 11 November 2020.
Then, on November 15, you went to her house and when she let you in, you grabbed her, causing bruises on her arms. She fell or was pushed to the ground and you repeatedly kicked her in the face and head with your steel-toed boots, fracturing bones in her face and causing cardiac arrest and fatal brain injuries.
In fact, you used those boots as fatal weapons. Not content with that, she cut his buttocks with a knife and sprayed him with ammonia.
‘You ended her life and brought pain and misery into the lives of others.
“Miss Kayll’s ex-husband has said that there are absolutely no words to describe her family’s feelings about losing her.”
