Omaha police are searching for a man who has been charged in a warrant for first-degree murder and weapons charges Sunday night for the shooting death of another person.
A warrant was issued for Brandon Boone in the death of Jamie Nau, 29, of Omaha, police said in a news release Tuesday.
Police have said officers who called to 83rd and Miami streets Sunday found Nau outside a home with gunshot wounds. Nau died at the scene.

Authorities say she was found dead outside a home near 83rd Street and Miami Sunday night. Police also say that if anyone has information or advice, call the Homicide Unit or Omaha Crime Stoppers.
Suspect
Brandon Boone has a warrant for first degree murder, use of a weapon to commit a felony and possession of a weapon by a prohibited person. Boone was identified as the suspect in the murder of 29-year-old Jamie Nau by OPD homicide investigators.
