A mother of four died after contracting coronavirus while pregnant and gave birth to her fourth child.
Becky Regan, 29, who worked at North Tyneside Hospital since January 2020, was 31 weeks pregnant when she tested positive for the virus.
Her health aide was remembered by her family and her colleagues Friday in a minute of silence.
James Mackey, Executive Director of Northumbria Hospitals NHS Trust, said: ‘It is with deep sadness that we mourn the loss of one of our own team who tragically died this week.

In January, family and friends created a GoFundMe page, while Ms. Regan was in the hospital, to help her children.
At the time of writing, the fundraising page had reached over £ 9,500.
Mrs. Regan leaves behind three daughters; Sophie, 10, Stacey, eight, and Connie-Mae, three.
