The man, charged with shooting a woman in a Monroe County mobile home and camp on Wednesday night, is being held in the Monroe County jail after being denied bail.
Austin Lucas, 28, of Plano, Texas, was arrested in Monroe County District Court on Saturday. He is charged with murder and firearms crime.
Lucas reportedly shot 35-year-old Joy Dawn Boswell in the face. She was found in her car and police found Lucas walking down Steiner Road covered in blood.
