Who was Asghar Badshah?
Two women and two men have pressed charges for the kidnapping and murder of a missing man who was found dead inside a cavity in the wall of a former closed bank.
Asghar Badshah, 39, was found inside the old Yorkshire Bank in Batley, West Yorkshire, in December 2019 after being reported missing.

Police had broken into the Commercial Street building and found Badshah’s body inside a cavity in the bank’s wall, which had been closed in 2016.
West Yorkshire Police today issued a new information appeal when it emerged that two men and two women were arrested in connection with the case on Thursday.
Qaisar Shah, 36, of Bradford, was charged with murder, conspiracy to kidnap and conspiracy to possess criminal property.
“We continue to follow a series of active lines of investigation in what has been a complex and long-lasting case.”
Mr. Badshah was reported missing on December 4, 2019 and it is understood that he was last seen in the early hours of November 30.
He was confirmed dead on December 31 after police identified a body they found inside an old bank in Batley, West Yorkshire.
In a statement, Mr. Badshah’s family said: ‘We, as a family, are deeply shocked and devastated by the loss of our dear brother Asghar Badshah.
His beautiful smile and charisma, as well as his generosity, will never be forgotten.
“ We as a family ask for privacy during our time of grief, as our elderly mother is deeply upset at this time.
West Yorkshire Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Homicide and Elder Investigation Team at 101, referencing Operation Plumeham.
“We pray for justice for Asghar and call on the public for any help they can provide to the police in this investigation.”
Sabbah Shahmuradi, 36, of Woking, is charged with murder and conspiracy to kidnap.
Sobia Syed, 37, and Zaban Syed, 60, both of Bradford, are charged with conspiracy to possess criminal property.
The four defendants will appear in Leeds Magistrates Court today.
Chief Inspector Detective Heather Whoriskey, who is leading the investigation, said: “ There has been a major police investigation into the abduction and murder of Mr. Badshah since 2019.
