Who is Amy Dorris?
Amy Dorris, a Florida woman, says she met Donald Trump in New York City in 1997. Dorris claims he “got very loud,” but his attorneys say several witnesses saw something wrong.
She was met by then-boyfriend Jason Binn, who referred to the real estate mogul as his “best friend.” The couple spent several days with him.
The Guardian reports that Trump was 51 years old and married to Marla Maples, his second wife.
Dorris’s modeling career had been based in Miami, where she also played the role of an odd actor, and her boyfriend had started upscale fashion and lifestyle magazines.
What allegations did Amy Dorris make against Donald Trump?
Amy Dorris told The Guardian that the current president forced himself into his VIP box in front of a bathroom during the US Open tennis tournament.
Dorris said that after approaching her, Trump “just stuck his tongue down my throat and I squeezed it.”
She added: “And then his grip got stronger and his hands felt a lot and all over my butt, my breasts, my back, everything.
“It was in her hands and she couldn’t get out.
“I felt like I had tentacles on me that I couldn’t pull away.
“I tried to pull her arms away from me and they wouldn’t let go because I wasn’t strong enough.
“You imagine those suckers on an octopus and they stick to you. You’re trapped, that’s how I felt “”
Dorris also claimed that he told Trump, “No, please stop,” but “it just didn’t work out for me.”
Dorris recalled how “shocked” she was and told the newspaper that she felt “raped.”
What did Trump’s lawyers say about his allegations?
Trump’s lawyers told The Guardian that Dorris’s claims did not stand up to scrutiny and that it did not seem credible that she would willingly spend time with him in the days following an incident like the one described.
They also said that such behavior was observed by other attendees and asked why the complaints were never brought to the police.
Trump’s lawyers have also suggested that the timing, days before the presidential election, could be politically motivated.
Representatives of the president were asked to comment.
