Amanda Robinson Wiki
Amanda Robinson Biography
Who was Amanda Robinson?
Amanda Robinson (pictured) was 14 when she disappeared two weeks after Robyn Hickie.
Fifteen days later, 14-year-old Amanda Robinson was last seen walking down Lake Road, Swansea, on April 21, after attending a dance at her high school in Gateshead.
A coronary investigation into her disappearances found that the teens were dead, most likely the result of foul play.
Police renewed their call to the community to submit any information and will announce the $ 1 million rewards later Monday.
How old was Amanda Robinson?
She was 14 year old girl.
Notorious serial killer Ivan Milat was believed to be responsible, as he was in the area at the time, but police have dismissed that theory.
Instead, they believe both girls were killed by another unknown predator active in Lake Macquarie.
A third possible victim came forward last year saying that she escaped the clutches of a murderer just a few miles away when she was 11 years old.
Amanda Robinson was last seen on the night of April 21, 1979, walking down Lake Road in the town of Swansea, New South Wales.
“Despite the fact that the disappearances occurred two weeks apart and the police are investigating both matters as a single investigation,” said Police Minister David Elliott.
“It is important that the people of Lake Macquarie, and indeed throughout New South Wales, look into their hearts to see if they have any information that may lead to a conclusion on this matter.”
“This increase in the reward to a million dollars for each one of the investigations, I hope it awakens the conscience of someone who knows something about the disappearance of these two teenagers.”
