Charges Against ”Alyssa Anne Dayvault”

Alyssa Anne Dayvault, 32, was convicted of two child abuse murders last Thursday. He confirms that he was booked the next day at the J. Ruben Long-Term Detention Center in Horry County, South Carolina.

According to a statement

Dayvault admitted at the hospital that she had given birth to a boy at her home earlier this month. She said the baby was born alive and breathed several times after it was born.

As part of an arrest warrant, Dayvault informed authorities that she was not seeking medical treatment for the babies and that she was not trying to “save or save” their life. When she died, she said she threw her body in the trash at her home.

During their investigation, police received data from patients from the previous year showing that Dayvault was in the third trimester of a healthy pregnancy and that the baby, a girl, had a healthy heart rhythm.

Dayvault admitted during questioning that she had also given birth to a girl in late 2017. She told police she dumped the boy’s body in the trash at her apartment building. .

Dayvault hid her pregnancy from everyone, including her boyfriend and mother, in 2017 and 2018, according to WJCL-TV.

Dayvault told police in recorded interviews that her daughter was born from the umbilical cord and died. She also claimed that she turned black for at least 15 minutes after giving birth to her son. When she woke up, she said she found her dead. Both times she threw the body in the trash.

Police Findings

In court, however, the pathologist stated that the boy was trapped in the trash, indicating that he was alive when the bag was closed. “That baby lived in the garbage,” attorney Scott Hixson said in his closing remarks on WJCL-TV, noting that he was slowly suffocating.

Defense attorney Sharde Crawford told the jury that Dayvault would panic after both births, but that he had planned to put the two babies up for adoption.

Dayvault is expected to live 20 years without prison in any confrontation. He will be sentenced at the end of the year.
