A Louisiana State University student died after being shot multiple times while sitting in her vehicle early Friday, Baton Rouge police said.
Authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of Allison Rice, 21, of Geismar, Louisiana, who was shot around 2:19 a.m. Friday in the 1500 block of Government St, the Baton Rouge Police Department said in a news release.
“Rice was shot multiple times while she was sitting in the driver’s seat of her vehicle. Rice died at the scene,” the statement said. “The motive and suspect(s) are unknown at this time.”
Louisiana State University asked anyone with information about the shooting to contact police.
