Alfie Pollard Biography
Alfie Pollard is the suspect who allegedly stabbed promising young boxer Luke Bellfield in a targeted attack in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, on Friday night. Bellfield was stabbed in the heart while walking down an alley in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, on Friday night.

Alfie Pollard: Luke Bellfield dead
Essex Police are looking for 17-year-old Alfie Pollard in connection with the attack that the force describes as “targeted.” Detectives have already arrested a 31-year-old man from Westcliff and a 19-year-old man from Rayleigh on suspicion of causing serious bodily harm.
Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Truss, who is leading the murder investigation, said: “We urgently need to speak with Alfie Pollard regarding our investigation. “I strongly urge him, or anyone who knows his whereabouts, to contact the police immediately.
“Anyone helping those involved in the violent incident that killed a man on Friday night will be the subject of a thorough investigation and could be prosecuted for aiding a criminal.”
Emotional tributes have been paid to Luke, who fought for the iconic Bethnal Green-based boxing club Repton in tournaments with coach Gary Cooke confirming the news on social media.
He began training at the nearby Hockley Boxing Club, which also paid tribute to Luke by remembering his success.

Tim Yeates, the head coach, said: “Luke’s love for boxing began at the age of eight, his passion and dedication carried him through six years of boxing, achieving two national finals, winning gold in the Three Nations and an England vest.
Luke continued his journey as a junior boxer in London.
“Our thoughts are with the family at this sad time for everyone at Hockley Boxing Club.”A fundraiser for Luke’s family reached £ 2,765 after being organized by friends.
