Who is Alexis Call ?
A WOMAN who appeared on the show Beyond Scared Straight as a teenager has been found dead in an abandoned house, police said.
Ashley Tropez’s body was found inside a home in Victorville, California, with “traumatic injuries” on Friday, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said.

Tropez and another woman, Alexis Call, were reportedly squatting inside a house in Victorville, California, before Tropez’s death.
Tropez’s body was found inside the abandoned house on Friday.
Another woman, Alexis Call, 24, was arrested after police believed the two were squatting together in the house before Tropez’s death.
Arrested and Charged
Call was charged with murder and is being held at the High Desert Detention Center, police said.
Tropez’s age was listed as 24 on the police report, however, other sources list her age as 28.
Tropez appeared on Beyond Scared Straight, a show in which troubled teens are brought to prison to learn about its harsh realities in hopes that it will change their lives.
Tropez was 17 years old when she was on the show, where she claimed that she was “fighting, getting into trouble, and selling weed.”
A year after her time on the show, Tropez spoke about her time on the show saying that the jail visit did not change her life.
“I’m still the same person,” Tropez said at the time. “I am everywhere, from friends to family houses. Simply chilling.
In a popular clip from the show, Tropez was seen confronting a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputy inside a jail.
Tropez refused to eat the food given to him by one of the deputies.
“You’d rather sit here and eat all this gang shit and go back out. Because you feel disrespected or whatever,” said the deputy.
“Are you going to eat this or not?”
Tropez again refused the food, prompting the officer to throw the plate on the floor and tell Tropez to clean it up.
When Tropez refused, the officer warned that he would throw the other plate at her if he didn’t do as he was told.
“You better leave it to me,” Tropez said.
