Perverted double murderer Mark Brown killed escorts Leah Ware and Alexandra Morgan and burned their bodies in an oil barrel on a remote farmhouse near St Leonards in East Suss*x after meeting them through a sex work website, he was told to a jury at Hove Crown Court.

Brown put the single mother of two, Ms Morgan, 34, headfirst into a home incinerator before dumping her remains. Only charred teeth and bone fragments remained. The body of Ms Ware, 33, has never been found, but the prosecution believes she used a similar method, as well as killing her Pomeranian, Lady.

A builder has been found guilty of the murder of two women he met on an escort website.

Mark Brown, 41, from St Leonards, East Suss*x, was convicted of murdering Alexandra Morgan and Leah Ware, who disappeared six months apart in 2021.

He once predicted to his boss that he would be “falling” for at least 25 years, he was told at his trial at Hove Crown Court.

Brown, the father of one who had a long-term partner, will be sentenced on January 13.

Judge Nicholas Hilliard said: “This is clearly a case of the utmost gravity and the effect on the families of the victims must be absolutely devastating.”

He said Brown will be sentenced to life in prison and will have to decide the minimum prison term or “consider whether he will ever be paroled.”
