Alecia Kitts was in the stands with her mother

The woman was in the stands with her mother as she argued with the police officer about wearing a mask at a university in Logan City, the Marietta Times reported.

Video of the incident, posted on YouTube, shows the woman resisting as the officer tries to handcuff her for nearly two minutes before using his Taser.

“get away from me

The woman, identified in the report as Alecia Kitts, repeatedly urged the officer to “get away from me,” the video shows.

“You are not going to stop me for free, I am not doing anything wrong,” he yells after the policeman orders him to put his hands behind his back.

As soon as the officer strokes Kitts, according to the footage, she falls into a lower tier of the bleachers.

The use of force surprised others who watched the game.

“Take care of this lady not to wear a damn mask,” we can hear from a witness.

When the woman is finally taken away, her mother asks the policeman, “Come on, it’s just a mask!”

Kitts, who apparently had an American flag mask in the back pocket of her shorts, was helping the visiting Marietta City school team at the time.

The Logan Police Department told the Marietta Times that the incident was being investigated.

Logan’s sports director, Theresa Schultheiss, told the newspaper that Kitts and her mother were the only ones among 300 fans who had “trouble” meeting state mask requirements.

“This rule has been in place since we were told we could play,” Schultheiss said.

“Everyone who came to the box office tonight was called. We had regular ads on the AP reminding him to cover his mouth and nose and we had posters in the bathrooms
