Police say 51-year-old Minire Pelinkovic was shot around 6:15 p.m. Saturday at the house on Burbank Avenue. She was rushed to Staten Island University Hospital with a gunshot wound to her lower back, according to the New York Police Department.
According to the police, the son arrested at the scene used a 9mm Sig Sauer that belonged to the alleged perpetrator’s father during the shooting. The murderous shooting Saturday night was sparked by “some kind of discussion,” a New York police spokesman said.wikipedia
At home, officers said they saw the alleged shooter’s father and the victim’s husband, 54, with a non-life threatening injury, according to the NYPD.
Charged
Young Pelinkovic was charged with murder, attempted murder, assault, criminal arrest of a loaded gun and threats, police said.
